I love peaches. They're extremely versatile, they can be used to flavor so many things. Salsas, cakes, chicken, cookies, pies, and one of my new favorites: cupcakes. I wanted to try a new twist on an old favorite of mine, the Peach Pie. My Peach Pie is more of a combination of a pie and a cobbler. So of course the cupcake would have to have the same feel and flavor to it.
This cupcake is PACKED with peach flavor, with strong notes of cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla. Topped with caramelized peaches and swirled with creamy buttercream. These are perfect for Fall weather, which is literally on our doorstep here in Central, Ohio!
Today it's going to be super hot and humid, and tomorrow, well they're saying it's going to be pretty chilly comparatively. What better way to bring in the new weather than with a warmed Peach Pie cupcake?
